JOB DESCRIPTION

Can you make a difference to the future lives of South Ayrshire’s young children with additional support needs? The Central Peripatetic Team is a group of peripatetic services that support children with additional support needs across the local authority. We seek to appoint highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Early Years Practitioners with an excellent track record in supporting children’s learning. Successful applicant(s) will work across peripatetic services with a focus within two areas: the Early Years Home Visiting service providing bespoke support to individual children up to the age of three with significant additional support needs in their own home; and Language Provision where specialised support is provided for children from pre-school to primary 2 who have an identified/probable severe developmental language disorder.

We currently have 2 vacancies: 1 FTE and 1 x 23 hour post; and would welcome applications from practitioners who can work collegiately and individually to support children and their families, providing excellent early level experiences. You must be a solution-focused, committed, passionate and well-qualified Early Years Practitioner who will inspire the development of our children.
