We are currently looking for a Nursery Assistant to work with a Nursery in Stockport.

This particular role is for someone who is looking to advance their career in the Early Years and is looking for a full-time opportunity working in a Nursery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children Whilst the setting is ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 3 - 6 months of experience working with children.

This is a full-time role available as soon as possible. It is a highly rewarding role, where qualifications are desired but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management
  • You must safeguard children
  • You will create inviting activities for the children in your care
  • Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners
  • You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
  • You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • At least 6 months experience working with children
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
  • A true passion to work with children
  • Able to display sensitivity and patience
  • Good knowledge of EYFS.
