Job summary

Role: Early Years Practitioner
Based: Hemel Hempstead
Start Date: September 2025
Temporary to Permanent

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a Primary School in Hemel Hempstead. You will play a vital role in supporting the development, learning, and care of children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities
-Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
-Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
-Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers to support individual learning needs
-Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
-Observe, assess, and record children's progress
-Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times

Requirements
-Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
-Previous experience working in an early years setting
-A genuine passion for working with young children
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
-Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
