Job description

Early years practitioner required in Wimbledon

We are currently looking for Level 2 and Level 3 early years practitioners for a beautiful early years setting near Wimbledon.

Key attributes include:

  • A positive and dedicated attitude with a passion for childcare and development
  • Ability to provide and sustain a caring environment
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week, with consideration for 4-day workweeks
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare and Early Years Education
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Previous 1-2 years experience in a nursery setting
  • Encourage independent learning: Facilitating hands-on exploration and problem-solving activities to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Build self-confidence and resilience: Supporting children in making choices, celebrating achievements, and learning from challenges.
  • Promote creativity and curiosity: Creating a stimulating environment with sensory activities and play-based exploration.
  • Foster strong relationships: Cultivating a community of positive interactions, teamwork, and mutual respect among children, parents, and caregivers.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
