Nursery – Bright Horizons St Marys Abingdon

Salary – Starting from £27,310.40 - £28,392 per annum /£13.13 - £13.65 per hour (full time equivalent, dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours - 24 or 32 Hours Per Week | Permanent

Location – Abingdon OX14 1AA

We’re looking for a Part Time Early Years Practitioner to join our St Marys Abingdon Day nursery. Our Ofsted rated 'Good' Nursery offers 114 places caring for children of 3 months up to 5 years and includes arts and crafts area's, reading corners, imagination area's and a large garden that includes vegetable patches and a climbing frame!

The Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for:

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
