Job summary

Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool in London is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for the Baby room, covering lunches Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm. The nursery offers a full refurbishment, two gardens, and vibrant community activities for children.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS, safeguarding, and partnership with parents, creating a warm, inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe environment that encourages children to express themselves and develop a love of learning.
• Work with colleagues and parents to support children's progress and wellbeing.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent – Pro-rata'd) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Crouch End Fields Day Nursery. The Nursery is situated on the grounds of Hornsey Cricket Club, close to Crouch End station and Highgate tube. This role is for the Baby room, covering lunches Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm.

The 88 place nursery offers a full refurbishment, two gardens and an off road car park. They hold exhibitions, concerts and shows throughout the year, alongside having Ballet, Spanish, Street Dance and Zumba lessons weekly!!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
