Salary: Starting from £27,231.95 - £28,274.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata'd) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We are looking for a full time, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Nursery, situated just a 5 minute walk from Raynes Park train station, with excellent public transport links, including several bus stops within a few minutes walk. There is also some on-street parking close by. This role can be working 2/3/4 full days a week.

Our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery is based just a short walk from the high street- great for grabbing a coffee at lunch time! The lovely 62-place setting is recently Ofsted rated 'Good' and features large and well-resourced rooms, and a great outdoor garden with play equipment.

  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

What we’re looking for

  • Full and Relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
