Job summary

The Glasgow Academy Milngavie invites an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our Milngavie setting for 3-5 year olds during term time.

You will contribute to a warm, nurturing environment, implement ethos and routines, plan and track progress, and collaborate with the nursery team to foster inclusion and high-quality learning in indoor and outdoor spaces.

Experience with outdoor education is valued; qualifications in Early Years are preferred or you may be working toward them.

Qualifications

• Qualified to, or working towards, an Early Years qualification.
• BA in Early Education & Childcare / Childcare Practice (or equivalent).
• Experience with outdoor education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Foster a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for every child.
• Implement ethos, routines and learning experiences within the setting.
• Plan, track and report on children’s progress and participate in team self-evaluation.
• Support the Head of Nursery and strengthen parent partnerships.
