Job summary

Danesfield Manor School & Nursery in Walton-on-Thames is expanding its Early Years provision, creating exciting opportunities for dedicated practitioners in both full-time and part-time permanent roles. You will work with children aged 6 months to 4 years, delivering high-quality care and supporting learning through our enriched EYFS curriculum.

We seek Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualifications, experience with young children, and a warm, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualification (essential).
• Experience working with young children in an Early Years setting.
• Warm, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Creativity and resilience; passion for early childhood education.
• Full-time or part-time with at least 3–4 consistent days per week.

Responsibilities

• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
• Planning, observing and evaluating learning in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate formative and summative assessment records.
• Sharing responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness across the nursery.
• Supporting the Early Years Manager and Deputy in maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.
