Job summary

Banana Moon Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Professional to join the Baby Moons team. You will work full time, 40 hours per week with 8 or 10 hour shifts in a welcoming nursery.

You will hold a Level 2 or 3 in early years, have a DBS enhanced disclosure, and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. You will have prior experience as a key person and contribute to delivering high-quality education and care.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 in early years education/care.
• DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
• Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
• Prior responsibility as a key person.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality education and care in a safe, welcoming setting.
• Promote the nursery and engage with families and the local community.
• Act as a named co-ordinator as designated by the Nursery Manager.
• Spend substantial time with children, with minimal admin burden.

Job Purpose

Early Years Professionals ensure a high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered; creating a safe, caring, and welcoming setting in which families are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

To adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures and meet legislative requirements and following education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure highest possible inspection grading.

To promote a successful business with a first-class reputation, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery whilst providing excellent customer care.

Acting as a named co-ordinator relevant to their skills or training as designated by the Nursery Manager.

This is a full time position-

40 hours per week

8 or 10 hour shift pattern

A full and relevant level 2 or 3.
