Hours: 14 hours per week minimum, working pattern to be discussed with successful candidate
Working Pattern: Term Time only

Wednesday-Friday, minimum of 14 hours (working pattern to be discussed and agreed with successful candidate)


We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational Early Years Practitioner to join our experienced team at this unique provision.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to expand and further develop our learning provision.

Moat House PRU supports students 14-19 years of age (with a specialism in young parents) to access relevant and aspirational qualifications, mental health and wellbeing support and education. Our welcoming, nurturing approach enables students of all abilities and genders to feel safe and have a sense of belonging, allowing them to re-engage with learning. Moat House has an Ofsted registered Nursery onsite for the babies of our young parent cohort.

We are looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our onsite Nursey who is:

Committed to providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for babies and toddlers in the nursery setting
Able to work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn
Committed to building and maintaining strong partnerships to enable students and their child’s needs to be met
Motivated and enthusiastic, with the power to inspire students and families
Creative with a flexible approach
Enthusiastic for working in partnership with support services and the local community
Able to contribute to the development of the nursery and the curriculum
Able to provide cover for the Nursery Manager in the event of absence

The ideal candidate must have the following:
Caring nature
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of professionals
Paediatric First Aid qualification (or be willing to undertake the necessary training)
IT literate
