Early Years Practitioner - Moreton Hall Prepcare

We are a privately run day nursery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, seeking a qualified childcare professional or someone willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification.

The successful candidate will hold a recognized Level 3 childcare qualification and be employed on a full or part-time basis.

Key duties include:

  • Providing a caring, safe, and stimulating environment for children and babies.
  • Recognizing signs of potential abuse and reporting concerns promptly.
  • Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assisting in all childcare activities.
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards for children and staff.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Understanding and adhering to nursery policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Promoting the nursery’s good reputation externally and with prospective families.

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week.
