Nursery: Bright Horizons Barrow Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: £26,334.00 - £31,350.00 (full-time equivalent, dependent on qualification and experience)

Location: Dalton Lane, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria, LA14 4LF

We are looking for a part-time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Barrow Nursery.

  • Planning, creating, implementing, and reflecting on engaging activities tailored to children’s developmental milestones
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Ensuring child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding
  • Maintaining a positive, safe, and happy environment with colleagues
What we’re looking for
  • Relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working with children (Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Educator, etc.)
  • Passion for engaging learning experiences
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
