Job description

Our Pre-School in Windlesham offers children aged 2 years to 5 years the opportunity to develop in a caring and secure environment, following a carefully planned curriculum of fun and stimulating activities aligned with the revised Early Years Foundation Stage. Our Pre-School is one of only two in Surrey to be rated Outstanding by Ofsted on three consecutive inspections out of nearly 600 pre-schools in the county. It received a fourth Outstanding Ofsted rating in February 2022.

This is a permanent position in an Outstanding pre-school setting.

Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available - FLEXIBLE (Term Time Only)

Salary: £11.50 - £13.14 per hour plus additional benefits (to be discussed at interview)

We consider applicants for Apprenticeships and Level 2 Practitioners.

The Pre-School provides a stimulating environment supporting children’s learning and development, including activities such as music and movement sessions led by a professional dance teacher. Children also have access to an outdoor area, offering a positive environment for development. The setting includes a dedicated Forest School within extensive grounds and woodland, with weekly opportunities for children to participate.

The successful candidate will:

1. Have a passion for working with children
2. Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification
3. Have experience working in a nursery, pre-school, or school setting
4. Have good knowledge of EYFS
5. Be able to work well in a team
6. Show enthusiasm and maintain a positive attitude
7. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
