An Outstanding pre-school in Windlesham seeks a Level 2 Practitioner to engage children aged 2 to 5 through enriching activities. Flexible working hours are available, offering a dynamic environment that champions effective teamwork and communication. Candidates are required to hold NVQ Level 3 Childcare and possess a passion for child development.
Our Pre-School in Windlesham offers children aged 2 years to 5 years the opportunity to develop in a caring and secure environment, together with this it follows a carefully planned curriculum of fun and stimulating activities working in line with the revised Early Years Foundation Stage. Our Pre-School is one of only two pre-schools in the whole of Surrey to be rated by Ofsted as Outstanding on 3 consecutive inspections out of nearly 600 pre-schools on the county and since then has received a fourth Outstanding Ofsted Inspection (February 2022).
This is a permanent position in an Outstanding pre-school setting
Hours: Full time or part time hours available - FLEXIBLE (Term Time Only)
Salary: £11.50 - £13.14 per hour with additional extras (this will be discussed at interview stage)
Would consider Apprentices, as well as Level 2 Practitioners
The Pre-School offers a stimulating and rich environment, which supports the children’s learning and development, the children participate in activities such as music and movement, sessions run by a professional dance teacher. Children also have access to an outdoor area, this provides a positive framework to ensure the children develop in a happy and safe environment. Enhanced by its separate Forest School within the extensive grounds and woodland. All children have the opportunity to experience the Forest School every week.
The successful candidate will:
· Have a passion for working with children
· Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification
· Have experience working in a nursery, pre-school, or school setting
· Have good knowledge of EYFS
· Be able to work well in a team
· Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
· Excellent communication both written and verbal
