Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Early Years practitioner, who has a passion for working with children, and has specific experience working with children aged 0-5 years. We are looking for a practitioner who is able to work on a full time basis. The company is committed to Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment and will offer a full induction and professional development programme for the chosen candidate.

Responsibilities / Requirements

The candidate will be required to have a good understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and be able to carry out the role of a key person within the setting, nurturing and supporting and developing a group of key children. A good knowledge of Safeguarding requirements within an early years setting will also be required. The candidate must also hold a relevant Early Years Qualification as found on the DFE Early Years Qualification check website (Legal requirement).

Additional details

The successful candidate will also need to obtain a DBS certificate, on offer of the post, which they will be required to pay for themselves. We will also ask the successful candidate to complete any of our mandatory training courses which they don\'t already possess via our e-learning academy prior to their start date with us. These include safeguarding, behaviour management, food safety etc.

Hours, type and location

Please be aware that the hours for the post are 40-42 hours per week, but will always be over 5 days. These will be flexible depending on the needs of the nursery.
