Job summary

Busy Bees Chelmsford is seeking a Level 2 Qualified Early Years Assistant to support children’s development through play-based learning and activities. The role is part of a supportive team at a Busy Bees nursery in Chelmsford, part of a leading UK group.

You’ll contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum, with apprenticeship opportunities and a flexible four-day week (40 hours). The nursery is Ofsted-rated Outstanding with a strong focus on staff growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with children under 5 required.
• Empathy and understanding important.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering strong partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
