Job summary

Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and implement engaging activities for children, supporting development in line with the EYFS. You will foster a safe, welcoming environment that encourages independent learning and curiosity.

Applicants should hold a full Level 2+ Early Years qualification, have safeguarding knowledge, and be able to build strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development towards milestones.
• Maintain a safe environment that encourages expression and a love of learning.
