Job summary

The University of Bradford’s Nursery invites applications for an Early Years Practitioner to help deliver the EYFS framework and nursery curriculum. Under the Room Leader and Management Team you will support a key group of children and their families.

You will conduct observations, contribute to planning, and support children's learning and development in a safe, inclusive environment, aligned with the University values of Excellence, Trust, Innovation and Inclusion.

Qualifications

• We welcome applicants who hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• English GCSE at Grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children aged birth to five years.
• Awareness of the EYFS Framework.
• Desirable: Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications plus Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding training, Food Hygiene, SEND knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the EYFS framework and nursery curriculum.
• Take responsibility for a key group of children, supporting their care, learning and development with families.
• Undertake observations and assessments, contributing to planning and identifying next steps.
