Job summary

Park Primary School invites applications for an Early Years Practitioner (30hpw) on a fixed term basis until 01 July 2027. The successful candidate will join a team delivering high-quality early learning and child care, aligned with Scotland's childcare standards.

Applicants should hold a recognised Childcare and Education qualification or commit to achieving one, and register with the SSSC. PVG checks may be required depending on nationality and residency history.

Qualifications

• Qualified early years practitioner with a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Unqualified workers must work towards one of the above awards within an agreed timescale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, high quality early learning and child care to children and families.
• Work as an effective member of a team to support Park Primary School's provision.
• Ensure compliance with PVG scheme and SSSC registration requirements.
