Job summary

Academics is seeking motivated Early Years Practitioners to join our supply team in North Staffordshire schools. You'll provide a supportive learning environment for young children, implementing the EYFS framework and encouraging their growth through play and structured activities. Qualifications

Job description

Academics is actively recruiting passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our trusted supply team, working across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout North Staffordshire.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day roles, short-term placements, or longer-term opportunities that could lead to permanent employment, we want to hear from you!

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

* Work closely with nursery and school staff to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

* Deliver activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support each child's learning and development.

* Encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence through age-appropriate play and structured activities.

What we're looking for in an Early Years Practitioner:

* A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).

* A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.

* Genuine enthusiasm for helping young children grow and develop.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

* A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.

* Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
