Title: Early Years Practitioner (Gaelic)

Location: Acharacle Primary School

Hours: 32 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £20,063 - £21,976 (Unqualified) £22,286 - £24,405 (Qualified)

Salary placement will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements

Applicants for the position of Early Years Practitioner (qualified) should hold a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ Level 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535.

Unqualified applicants for the same role must work towards one of the above qualifications within an agreed timescale and will be paid on grade HC0435.

The role requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or an agreement to apply for registration. Registration should be achieved within 6 months of employment or as determined.

Qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid are advantageous.
