Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for Davidson’s Mains Primary School Nursery. You will contribute to high-quality early years education and care, aligning with council policies and PVG requirements.

We offer a 36-hour week on a 52-week contract, with shifts between 7:50 am and 6:00 pm on a rota. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply and will be supported through pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide a service that aligns with best practice in education and care for children and young people.
• Meet children’s individual needs and those of their families to enable everyone to achieve their potential.
• Promote a stimulating environment balancing education and care.
