Location: Bunsgoil Taobh na Pìrse Parkside Primary, 139B Bonnington Rd, Edinburgh, EH6 5NQ

Early Years Practitioner

Employer: Bun-Sgoil Taobh Na Pàirce (Parkside Primary School)

Salary: £28,046 - £32,010 (pro-rata for sessional)

Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Our vibrant Gaelic Medium Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing environment. At Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pàirce, we celebrate Gaelic culture, music, and song to foster a love of learning through an immersive Gaelic language experience.

Working Hours and Language Considerations

The working hours for this role are 8:15-16:30 (13:15 on Fridays). English speakers will also be considered.

Regulatory and Background Checks

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. Candidates who have spent over 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years will require an Overseas Criminal Record Check. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

Additional Information

Our salary range reflects the starting salary with annual increases up to the top of the range. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
