Base pay range
Job Opportunity: Early Years Practitioner
Employer: Kids
Contract: Monday - Friday - 36 hours.
Location: Shakespeare Road, Popley, Basingstoke RG24 9BP (Conveniently located on a bus route from the town centre).
Salary: £25,000 FTE
Essential Criteria: Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher (must be listed on the Department for Education checker). Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria.

Your Role as an Early Years Practitioner
As an integral part of our nursery family, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead as a Key Worker: Build strong, caring relationships with a small group of children, guiding their unique learning journeys and supporting their growth.
- Create Fun, Engaging Activities: Develop imaginative, educational experiences—from messy play to arts and crafts—that inspire joy and curiosity.
- Celebrate Milestones: Track the children’s progress, sharing updates with parents and cheering them on as they grow and achieve new things!
- Build Relationships with Families: Work closely with parents and carers, creating a seamless partnership to support each child’s learning and development.
- Support Your Team: Collaborate with your colleagues to create a positive, fun-filled atmosphere where everyone’s ideas are heard and valued.
- Ensure a Safe, Happy Environment: Make sure every child feels loved, supported, and safe in a space that meets their individual needs.
- Handle Concerns with Care: Approach any challenges with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on building trust with families.
- Follow Best Practices: Help us maintain the high standards we’re known for by following nursery policies and safety procedures.
