Job description

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and develop.

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's development and progress.

  • Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.

  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development, accidents, and daily routines.

  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the setting.

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent).

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development.

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
