Nexter is seeking energetic Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Assistants for flexible supply roles in New Cross and surrounding Lewisham areas. You’ll engage children with songs, stories and sensory activities while keeping settings safe and welcoming.

1. The Qualified Professionals (Level 2 & Level 3):

• You must possess a "Full & Relevant" Early Years qualification (such as CACHE, NVQ, NNEB, or a Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma).

• (Please note: Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not meet statutory nursery ratio guidelines for this specific tier).

2. The Experienced Unqualified Practitioners:

• You might not hold a formal early years diploma just yet, but you have the hands‑on experience and a natural talent for childcare! If you have recent, verifiable professional experience in a nursery environment and a proactive, "can-do" attitude, we want you on board.

The Crucial Requirements:

• The Attitude: A relentless passion for early childhood, steadfast reliability, and the enthusiasm to jump into the daily routine with a positive, supportive mindset.

• The Safety Benchmark: Holding a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is highly preferred. If you do not currently have one, you must be fully willing to complete the training to keep our nursery spaces as safe as possible.
