Job summary

Rainbow House Nursery in Liverpool is offering an apprenticeship role towards the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner standard. You will assist planning and delivering engaging play activities, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage, to support literacy, numeracy and language development.

Training provider Realise will supply on-the-job training and 20% off-the-job learning within your working day.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 4 and above in Maths and English are desired but not essential.
• Apprenticeship position with on-the-job training and formal learning.
• Interest in working with children and developing skills in early years education.

Rainbow House Nursery is located in Liverpool and reflects the rich backgrounds and cultures of our local area and beyond.

You will assist in planning and delivering engaging, purposeful play activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to support children’s learning, including their literacy, numeracy, and language development. Working closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies, you will help ensure that each child’s individual needs are met while promoting healthy lifestyle choices through play.

Daily Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
