We are currently seeking to fill the position of Early Years Practitioner and Early Birds Assistant.
The Nursery at ESMS is recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner and Early Birds Assistant to join on a part-time, temporary basis from August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks) until 26 June 2026. The hours are:
The role is during term time. Salary ranges from £9,627 to £10,479 per annum, depending on skills and experience, and is on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales.
The purpose of this role is to deliver a high-quality, child-centred service meeting the needs of children and families. Key duties include planning and implementing a curricular program, observing and interacting with children to support learning, and participating in team activities within the Nursery.
The ideal candidate will be kind, enthusiastic, responsible, experienced with children, qualified in childcare, and organized. They should prioritize children's interests and work well in a team.
