Job description

We are in search of qualified educators/practitioners to join our team.

With an extremely high number of 1, 2 & 3-year-olds currently seeking placement at our nursery, we are continuing our search for dedicated individuals to start with us.

Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience but above NMW/NLW.

Our nurseries have a good reputation, and we aim to maintain the high standards for which we were accredited, receiving a 'good' rating in all areas during our last inspections.

You will be someone who demonstrates a mature attitude and is focused on delivering excellent standards, with a natural ability to work as part of a team.

We will provide onboarding training including:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate

We are looking for someone responsible, flexible, and able to use their initiative.

You should have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special, and be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand or find funny! A touch of quirkiness is welcomed—if a child asks you to be a pirate captain, be the best pirate captain you can be!

You must be comfortable announcing when you are going to the toilet, and able to sing in tune or out of tune in front of others. Distributing warm hugs as needed is essential.

You should have skills to quickly count children, and be comfortable in public places with children’s bodily functions and substances on your clothing. A good sense of smell helps respond appropriately.

Ability to pretend to eat playdough and drink pretend tea, read fairy tales with interruptions, and have lots of fun with children are important qualities.

Ultimately, you should feel loved, special, and important to the children and their families.

Location
