Salary: £16,633 - £18,216 (Unqualified) £18,474 - £20,222 (Qualified)

Requirements

This is a regulated role. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and residency history. Specifically, this applies if:

  • You are not a national of the UK or listed countries (Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland).
  • You have lived or worked outside the UK or listed countries for three months or more in the past five years.

It is your responsibility to obtain the Overseas Criminal Record Check and cover any costs.

Qualified applicants should hold a recognized childcare qualification (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535. Unqualified applicants will need to work towards such a qualification within an agreed timeframe and will be paid on grade HC0435. The Early Years Practitioner must hold or apply to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
