Post Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Kilchoan Primary School
Hours: 11 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £6,896 - £7,554 (Unqualified) - £7,660 - £8,389 (Qualified)

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements

Qualified Early Years Practitioners should hold a recognized qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535.

Unqualified workers employed as Early Years Practitioners will be required to work towards one of the above awards within an agreed timescale and will be paid on grade HC0435.

The Early Years Practitioner must hold or be willing to apply for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Upon taking up the role, registration with the SSSC is required.
