Job summary

Bright Horizons Witney Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support our Good‑rated setting in Witney. You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering development and a love of learning in a safe, caring environment.

The role requires a relevant Level 2/3 Early Years qualification, safeguarding awareness and a commitment to our HEART values. 40 hours per week, Mon‑Fri, with DBS checks prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection practices.

Salary – Starting from £29,619.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ nursery caters for up to 85 children from ages 3 months up to 5 years. It includes 3 age based rooms full of sensory area, cosy reading corners and imagination stations with a beautiful outdoor space for the children to enjoy, the nursery also benefits from extracurricular activities such as Boogie Mites sessions.

Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
