Job summary

Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool in Tonbridge, Kent is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver engaging activities, creating a caring, safe environment that nurtures every child's development.

You will support learning toward EYFS milestones, foster curiosity, and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents while upholding safeguarding standards. The role requires a Level 3+ EYQ and a passion for inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding/child protection.
• Ability to develop trust with colleagues and parents/carers.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £29,203 - £34,340 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Tonbridge, Kent

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team of long serving staff with lots of experience with SEN, nurture training and a qualified teacher. We have a separate baby garden and a larger space for toddlers and preschool children with a nurturing environment. We are based close to the train station and A21 / M25 for easy commuting.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
