Job description

Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner with a Level 3 qualification in childcare? Do you have a passion for supporting young learners and making a positive impact in their early education? We'd love to hear from you!

Vision for Education is recruiting an experienced or recently qualified Early Years Practitioner for daily, short-term, and/or long-term supply work in an "Outstanding” Nursery setting in Scunthorpe. This Early Years Practitioner role will initially be offered on a daily basis, working Monday to Friday to suit your availability.

If you are flexible, have a passion for early years, and you're available full or part-time, this could be the role for you. This small, friendly nursery is looking to appoint a passionate Early Years Practitioner on a full or part-time basis with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of the team for the right candidate. Working in this nursery as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Practitioner will be working on a small group basis in the setting from ages 0-5. The Nursery operates from 7.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round. You will be required to complete shifts between the nursery opening hours, which may differ each day. This well-established mainstream nursery setting can offer the successful Early Years Practitioner a dynamic and professional working environment, where their efforts will be rewarded. The nursery is friendly and welcoming, and puts the children at the heart of everything they do.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Early Years Practitioner position, you will:

  1. Be a qualified Early Years Practitioner
  2. Work well with other staff members
  3. Be flexible, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in
  4. Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  5. Have the ability to form strong relationships with children and their families
  6. Be calm, patient, and have a nurturing nature
