Job description

Applications are invited from suitably experienced, enthusiastic, and committed Early Years Practitioners for a position starting from late August 2025. Early start options may be accommodated. We seek a well-qualified and motivated individual eager to utilize their talents in a dedicated and professional team. The successful candidate should demonstrate commitment to their role and the school's community.

The candidate will work in a small school environment, developing skills in working with young children and contributing to curricular development at the nursery and early years stage. The working hours during term time are approximately:

  1. Monday 7.30am – 1.30pm
  2. Tuesday 9.45am – 1.00pm
  3. Wednesday 7.30am – 1.30pm
  4. Thursday 9.45am – 1.45pm
  5. Friday 9.45am – 12.45pm

Additional opportunities may be available to support before and after-school care. The pay rate is currently £14.33 per hour, paid monthly in arrears for 39 weeks annually, plus five weeks of holiday pay, totaling approximately £14,030 per year. All holidays must be taken during the school holiday periods.

The candidate should hold a Level 3 SVQ or equivalent qualification. The appointment is subject to PVG and SSSC checks.
