Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This position involves engaging with children in their early developmental stages, promoting their learning through play, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute daily routines and activities. Support children during meal times, ensuring proper food preparation and adherence to food safety standards. Encourage positive behaviour through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies. Assist in the preparation of meals, incorporating basic culinary skills as needed. Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
Skills
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles. Excellent time management skills to effectively balance multiple tasks. Basic maths skills for assisting with activities involving counting or measuring. Culinary skills related to food preparation and kitchen safety are advantageous. Ability to upsell educational activities when appropriate. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help children learn and grow. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
