Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Early Years Practitioner in Reading to plan and deliver engaging activities for each child, tailored to their development and milestones.

You will create a safe, inclusive environment encouraging self-expression and a lifelong love of learning, while working closely with families and colleagues in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Ability to develop trust with colleagues and parents/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for key children.
• Provide a safe, inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning.
• Monitor progress towards development milestones and adapt activities accordingly.

Salary

Level 2 – £27,009.60 - £27,823.80 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Level 3 – £28,072.60 - £33,020.50 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
