Job summary

Bright Horizons Cambridge Milton Road Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.

You will foster a safe, stimulating environment where children can express themselves, grow a lifelong love of learning, and build trusting partnerships with families while adhering to safeguarding and EYFS guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Salary and Location

Nursery – Bright Horizons Cambridge Milton Road Day Nursery and Preschool Salary – Starting from £29,972.80 per annum

Location – Cambridge

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we're looking for
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
