Job summary

Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool in Esher, Surrey, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each child, fostering development and a love of learning.

You will provide a safe, inclusive environment, uphold EYFS standards and safeguarding; possess a Level 3+ Early Years qualification; be DBS checked and build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child.
  • Create a safe environment that supports expression and exploration.
  • Reflect on practice to support development towards milestones.

Job description

Nursery – Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £29619 - £34,840 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience). Location – Esher, Surrey

Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
