We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing primary school in Maldon. You will be working within their EYFS setting, supporting children aged 3-5 in their crucial early development.

We Are Looking For:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential).

Previous experience working in a nursery or school-based EYFS setting.

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to learning.

Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children’s learning and development through planned activities and play-based learning.

Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their learning journeys.

Providing personal care and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in the setting.

Working collaboratively with the class teacher and Early Years team to create an engaging and inclusive environment.

Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s learning at home and in school.
