Job description

Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a Early Years Practitioner with either a BTEC/ CACHE/ NVQ Level 2 or 3 diploma in childcare and early years education or a BA in early years education from UK or Overseas University.

Alternatively Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), Montessori Teaching Qualification or BA in Education, PGCE would also be desirable

Starting salary: 27,000pa- 31,000pa (negotiable) + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays, frequent pay reviews, and other benefits. Option to work either all year round or Term Time Only.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with early years foundation stages and different areas of learning
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones
- Playing games with children and supervising play
