Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner for a school nursery in Boldon on a part-time, term-time only basis. The role focuses on supporting young children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 EYQ, have EYFS knowledge, strong communication, and be DBS checked or willing to obtain one. This is a welcoming team with ongoing consultant support and competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing in the school nursery.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and nursery team to deliver EYFS activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers and follow safeguarding procedures.
