Job description

Are you nurturing, enthusiastic, and passionate about giving children the best start in life? We are looking for a warm and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join an early years team and support the learning and development of our youngest learners in September 2025.

Duties as an Early Years Practitioner:

  • Assisting in the delivery of creative, play-based learning activities

  • Supporting the class teacher and early years practitioners in daily routines

  • Creating a caring, safe, and stimulating environment

  • Encouraging children’s social, emotional and language development

  • Observing and recording children’s progress

  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

  • Has a relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)

  • Loves working with young children and understands their needs

  • Is patient, kind, and full of energy

  • Has good communication skills and works well in a team as a Early Years Practitioner.

  • Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic
