Job summary

Bright Horizons Chelsea Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Practitioner in Chelsea, London. You will plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering development and a love of learning in a bright, safe environment.

Qualifications include a full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification, a passion for inclusive learning, and a solid understanding of the EYFS.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Chelsea Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)


Location – Chelsea, London

Our 49-place nursery boasts bright, spacious rooms, each tailored to the children’s age groups. The nursery also features two fantastic, large outdoor areas, complete with age appropriate equipment!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification

  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
