Job summary

Manor Hill First School is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner to support high-quality learning experiences for our youngest learners. You will nurture curiosity and confidence through play, while observing progress and guiding next steps in development.

We value strong communication with children, families and colleagues and are committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive practice within our school community.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years.
• Have experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Secure understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework.
• Value child-led learning and learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences for young children.
• Foster curiosity, independence and confidence through purposeful play.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress for next steps in learning.
• Work with teachers to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
• Promote wellbeing, safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
• Develop communication, language and early reading skills.
• Build partnerships with parents and carers to support development.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold Manor Hill First School's ethos.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and school priorities.
