Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an Early Years Officer for Sighthill Primary School and Nursery. This fixed-term post runs until 1 September 2027 and is 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:45am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary ranges from £34,452 to £40,501 per year, with 52 weeks of work per year. Applicants must have at least 2 years post-qualifying experience in an Early Years setting and hold the SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7, with SSSC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in an Early Years setting.
• Must have SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 and meet SSSC registration without conditions.
• PVG Scheme or PVG update check required; Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent time outside the UK.
