Job summary

Stanwell Nursery School in Edinburgh is seeking an Early Years Officer on a fixed-term contract until 28 February 2029. The role covers 36 hours per week across 39 weeks sessional, with salary £34,452–£40,501 pro rata.

You will provide high-quality education and care in line with council policies, working in a multidisciplinary team to meet children's needs and support families, with PVG scheme requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education and care settings is assumed.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and care for children in line with good practice and council policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary or other teams to promote a stimulating learning environment.
• Meet the individual needs of children and families to enable potential to be achieved.
