Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is currently seeking a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a variety of Early Years settings in Swansea. You will support children through play-based learning, help with their development and wellbeing, and work closely with a supportive Early Years team.

The role covers short-term and long-term placements, with on-site hours and a full-time pattern. Salary ranges from £14.25 to £15 per hour under a PAYE arrangement, and the position is temporarily contracted.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification.
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting.
• An understanding of children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• A caring and nurturing approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Adaptability and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging activities for children in Early Years settings.
• Support children's development and wellbeing through play-based learning.
• Collaborate closely with other EY professionals to maintain a positive environment.
