Job description

A diverse and friendly nursery in Cheam is now looking for a caring and passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join the dedicated team of staff, to start as soon as possible.

The suitable Early Years Nursery Practitioner will:

• Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development
• Create an environment that is language rich and and supportive
• Have good knowledge of early childhood development
• Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions, following the EYFS curriculum
• Support personal, social and emotional development
• Encourage child led activities that are stimulating for their imagination and creativity
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and support the nursery management team

A relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this position.

This is a permanent full time Early Years Nursery Practitioner role to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm) in an outstanding SW London nursery where every member of staff is supported and valued, as shown through the bonuses paid throughout the year.
